HEAP LEACHING
Modern heap leaching practices include expanding technology that demands higher performance to meet strict industry requirements. In many cases, leaching heap depths have increased to more than 150 metres of ore depth from only 15 to 20 metres a decade ago. This is a function of economic efficiency and surface area availability – both driven by closure and reclamation costs and minimization of impact on agricultural land by mining. Wobbler® technology in heap leaching applications has a 90% uniformity by utlizing the same low pressures associated with drip systems.
Mini-Wobblers® can be installed directly into dripper lines to complete the leach cycle or provide a final rinse.
The high grade engineering plastic ensures adequate protection to agressive chemicals and on-site working conditions, providing long service and reduced replacement costs.
AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE
The lower pressure requirement and relatively large droplet size reduces power requrements and evaporation losses substantially, contributing to lower production costs. The high grade plastic material provides long life and protection to harsh ultra violet radiation.
